Inter – Frosinone
Inter are currently 3rd in the Serie A standings with 25 points won. The Nerazzurri have a record of 8 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats since the beginning of the season. They were enjoying a solid run of consecutive wins in the league, but this run ended with a crushing 1-4 defeat against Atalanta in Bergamo in the last round.
It was not a good day for Inter. Mauro Icardi scored the team’s only goal against Atalanta, but the defence conceded four goals, which was totally unacceptable. Now Inter has to bounce back and prove that this was just a fluke. Their main goal is to finish once again in the Top 4 and qualify for the Champions League. The competition is huge, so they can’t allow results like this happen very often.
Frosinone, on the other hand, is locked in a fight against relegation. They are currently 19th in the league with just 7 points won so far. Their record shows 1 win, 4 draws and 7 defeats. But here’s important to mention that Frosinone is unbeaten in their last four games, in which they recorded one win and made three draws.
In their last game, Moreno Longo’s boys made a 1-1 draw at home against Fiorentina. Marco Benassi opened the score for La Viola, but Andrea Pinamonti equalized for Frosinone just one minute before the end of the game.
Let’s see if Frosinone can make it five in a row being unbeaten against Inter. It won’t be easy for them at the San Siro, that’s for sure. Inter, on the other hand, do not have any other choice, but to bounce back after the heavy defeat in Bergamo.
